Primary Purpose
This role will be responsible for developing and growing profitable year-on-year sales in major accounts within the Central region. The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing contact and opportunity activity through NOVO.
- Growing profitable year-on-year sales in all major accounts in the portfolio.
In collaboration with the bid team and inside sales team(s), this role will coordinate account activity and support bid/tenders when opportunities are identified.
Key Accountabilities
- Account management activity through direct customer contact and dealer liaison.
- Using NOVO to manage account strategy, activity, and pipeline management.
- Achieving bookings in line with agreed targets.
- Attendance at team meetings.
- Development of sales experience through mentoring with team co-members and attending customer visits.
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Degree level, preferably in a business or marketing discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience ideally in a sales/B2B environment.
- Materials handling product knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Language skills (strong/native).
