Innovative Product Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at MÜPRO Services GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for the entire product development cycle from concept to market launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative fastening products
- Oversee the entire product development process from concept to market launch
- Create 3D models, designs, and drawings of products using Autodesk Inventor
- Develop technical specifications for product development and evaluate production and material costs
- Coordinate development processes with purchasing and potential suppliers up to series production
- Continuously improve and optimize products already on the market (technical series care)
- Conduct internal tests and supervise external testing facilities to determine product performance data
- Release first samples
- Accompany technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Manage product approvals and audits (e.g. VdS, FM, DNV)
- Advise technical and commercial departments on product and production-related issues
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Precision Engineering, or Construction Engineering, or a qualified technician/technician. You should have practical experience in project management and development, as well as first-hand experience in product development at a manufacturing company, preferably in the field of fastening technology/metalworking (stamping/bending parts).
Requirements
- Excellent German and good English skills in writing and speaking
- Excellent knowledge of the CAD system Inventor
- Strong team player with enthusiasm for development
