About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at MÜPRO Services GmbH. As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of innovative fastening products, from concept to market launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative fastening products, including design, prototyping, and testing
  • Lead the product development process from concept to market launch, including coordination with procurement and potential suppliers
  • Create technical specifications for product development, including cost evaluation and optimization
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve product performance and reduce costs
  • Conduct internal and external testing to gather product performance data
  • Release first samples and coordinate with suppliers for series production
  • Participate in technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
  • Manage product certifications and audits (e.g. VdS, FM, DNV)
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams on product and production-related matters

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in mechanical engineering, construction engineering, precision engineering, or a related field. You should have practical experience in project management and development, as well as first-hand experience in product development in a manufacturing company, preferably in the field of fastening technology/metal processing.

Requirements

  • Excellent German and good English language skills
  • Proficiency in CAD system Inventor
  • Strong team player with a passion for development
