As the Global Head of Learning and Development, you will be responsible for creating an innovative, scalable, and learner-centric ecosystem that enables employees to acquire the skills necessary for their current and future success at SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Needs Analysis
- Identify learning needs based on SAP's defined Skills Framework and Skills Assessments.
- Build and manage a comprehensive learning portfolio to address these needs.
- Learning Development & Execution
- Manage the development of learning standards, formats, and methodologies aligned with the skills framework.
- Oversee the execution of internal and outsourced learning programs, ensuring consistency and alignment with SAP's learning objectives.
- Learning Innovation & Centralization
- Establish a skills-based, data-driven, employee-centric model for Learning.
- Drive the centralization of learning within SAP's People & Culture (P&C) board area, ensuring coherence and alignment across the organization.
- Learner-Centric Experiences
- Deliver engaging, efficient, and personalized learning experiences that meet prioritized learning needs.
- Incorporate best-in-class learning design across multiple modalities to enhance learner engagement.
- Ensure continuous, on-demand learning opportunities are available to employees across functional areas.
- Skills Development Focus
- Lead efforts to develop functional, role-specific, technical, and professional skills within the workforce.
- Ensure learning solutions are focused on upskilling and reskilling employees for both current roles and future career progression.
- Learning Experience Design
- Ensure best practices in learning experience design are applied across multiple formats to reinforce learning and maximize impact.
Requirements
- Experience in Learning & Development leadership, with a focus on skills-based learning strategies in a large, global organization.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products and cloud transformation.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise-wide transformation efforts where learning is essential to success.
- Strong understanding of digital learning platforms, data-driven learning models, and learner experience design.
- Proven experience in centralizing and scaling learning initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a strategic mindset.
