About the Project

The Robert Bosch GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to undertake a Master Thesis project in the field of additive manufacturing. The project focuses on the further development of a process simulation in the field of additive manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize the existing process simulation of the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process.
  • Analyze and evaluate the influence of process parameters and structural parameters on part quality.
  • Document and present the results of the project.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Simulation Technology, Computational Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in FEM simulation and modeling, with experience in the laser powder bed fusion process being a plus.
  • Independent, structured, and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Very good command of English or German.
