Job Description

As a Master's student in Simulation Technology, Computational Science, or Mechanical Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project that combines simulation and modeling with additive manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize the existing process simulation of the Laser Powder Bed Fusion process, leveraging your expertise in FEM simulation and modeling.
  • Analyze and evaluate the impact of process parameters and structural parameters on part quality, ensuring the development of high-quality products.
  • Document and present your findings, showcasing your ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Simulation Technology, Computational Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in FEM simulation and modeling, with experience in the laser powder bed fusion process a plus.
  • Independent, structured, and self-motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in English or German, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
