Job Title: Facility and Maintenance Engineer
Contract Type: 12 Month Contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and servicing production facilities, tools, machines, and overall infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Implement Infrastructure Projects: Develop and execute comprehensive plans for infrastructure projects, including electrical systems, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure Seamless Equipment Integration: Ensure that specialized equipment is seamlessly integrated into building systems for optimal functionality.
- Perform Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform and coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities for test and production facilities.
- Manage Facility Services: Contract and manage facility service companies to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Lead Maintenance Framework Implementation: Lead the integration of a maintenance framework, PPM schedule (TPM), and related processes for the production facility/equipment.
- Manage Spare Parts and Equipment: Maintain spare part and equipment storage, including regular inventory checks.
- Supervise External Companies: Supervise and coordinate external companies such as suppliers, contractors, and facility services.
- Identify and Analyze Facility-Related Issues: Identify facility-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Drive Improvement Projects: Drive and support improvement projects with various stakeholders to prevent incidents.
Requirements:
Candidate Profile:
- Technical Qualifications: Completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Facilities Engineering role or similar (apprenticeship will be credited).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building systems, such as electrical systems, HVAC, air supply, or fire protection.
- Technical Evaluation: Ability to evaluate technical work.
- Safety Regulations: Understanding of safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to building systems.
- Certifications: Certified electrician and electrical work experience is an asset.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1).
- Personal Qualities: Hands-on attitude, motivated, proactive, autonomous, and structured.
