Senior Sales Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales professional to join our team at adidas. As a Senior Sales professional, you will be responsible for providing analytical insights and recommendations to our sales teams, driving fact-based decisions, and supporting the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain innovative reporting tools to create better business understanding within the organization.
- Present and discuss business developments with sales teams internally and customers externally on a regular basis.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to enable 360° explanations for Sell Out developments and create best possible fact-based sales recommendations.
- Support cross-functional projects, such as forecasting, budgeting, and trade terms.
- Manage direct reports as an integrated team, setting targets, goals, and guiding principles.
- Develop direct reports' core functional and interpersonal competencies through regular coaching and mentoring.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of numbers and excellent analytical skills.
- Comfort with sales/product data and very good understanding of sales KPIs.
- Data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of operational processes.
- Open-minded, with excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in both English and German, both written and spoken.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in business administration (bachelor/master).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or finance/controlling.
Experience/Interests:
Experience in the clothing/fashion/footwear or FMCG industry is an advantage.
