About the Role:
The Senior Sales Business Analyst will be a key member of the adidas Sales Development team, responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support the Central Senior Management and Sales Teams. This role will play a critical part in driving fact-based decisions and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for assigned Key-Account Sales Teams, providing analytical insights and recommendations to support sales growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying market trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain innovative reporting tools to enhance business understanding and decision-making.
- Present business developments to sales teams and customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis, providing 360° explanations for sales developments and recommending fact-based sales strategies.
- Support cross-functional projects, such as forecasting, budgeting, and trade terms.
- Train Account Managers in using standardized reporting tools, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
People Management:
- Manage direct reports as an integrated team, setting targets, goals, and guiding principles for success.
- Create a high-performance culture, managing career and succession planning for key talents.
- Inspire, lead, and foster a high-performance culture within the team, ensuring cooperation and collaboration.
- Develop direct reports' core functional and interpersonal competencies through regular coaching and mentoring.
- Provide leadership based on the adidas Leadership Framework and Brand Values.
- Assess employees through the official adidas Performance Management process, ensuring succession plans for all relevant positions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of numbers and excellent analytical skills
- Comfort with Sales/Product Data and very good understanding of sales KPIs
- Data-driven mindset and attention to detail
- Strong Problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of operational processes
- Open-minded, with excellent interpersonal skills and Team-Player
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in both English and German, both written and spoken
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration (bachelor/master)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, or marketing or finance/controlling
Experience/interests: sports, sales, marketing in the clothing/fashion/footwear or FMCG industry.
