Pulp and Paper Enzymes Technical Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Manager to join our team at AB Enzymes. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Pulp and Paper customers in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on and remote technical support to key accounts, with a focus on the southeast and east coast of North America.
- Lead the coordination, planning, execution, and follow-up of mill trials, including reporting and documentation.
- Work closely with local account managers and technical service managers to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in pulp and paper mills.
- Participate in identifying customer needs, supporting the development of solutions, and providing technical assessments of opportunities.
- Identify and assess market potential and business opportunities in the region, in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental requirements, safety practices, equipment, and quality issues relevant to the business, in close coordination with mills, to enable safe trialling of enzymes.
- Contribute to innovation processes with technical application knowledge as part of the global application team.
- 10+ years of work experience in the pulp and paper industry, with a strong technical background.
- Preferably a degree in paper science and engineering or a comparable field.
- Experience in the application of enzymes is a clear asset, but not essential.
- Solid understanding of technical and commercial industry needs, including main financial drivers.
- Ability to network within the industry and manage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively translate between technology and customer needs.
- Willingness and ability to travel (including internationally) 50-80%.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with Spanish language skills being a benefit.
- Structured and results-oriented, with a proactive approach and a sense of urgency in driving projects to completion while dealing with multiple priorities.
