The primary responsibility of this role is to establish security requirements for our cloud platforms in alignment with industry standards and regulations, while monitoring compliance. This position requires expertise in identifying common security threats and implementing effective security controls across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive cloud security governance framework and pursue continuous enhancements to ensure secure cloud service utilization.
- Establish and maintain cloud security processes within the cloud operating model, supporting governance and risk management initiatives.
- Conduct security assessments, define protection requirements, and perform risk analyses for cloud platforms.
- Create tailored strategies to elevate security levels and develop decision-making templates for risk mitigation.
- Engage with emerging cloud technologies and assist in their secure implementation.
- Contribute to the development of DevSecOps practices and collaborate closely with IT teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty) is advantageous.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in cloud security.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing security requirements for cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or Google Cloud Security Command Center.
- Experience in conducting security assessments, risk analyses, and developing security strategies.
Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Proficient in implementing and managing cloud security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, and data protection.
- Strong knowledge of common security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors in cloud environments.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex security challenges, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
