(Senior) Security Engineer (f/d/m)

We are seeking a dedicated, innovative, and empathetic Security Engineer (f/d/m) to be an integral part of our Digital R&D team. This role is crucial for the development and execution of robust information security protocols. Your expertise in security frameworks for cloud environments will be essential in safeguarding our systems. You will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to streamline security processes and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies to bolster secure access for our development teams.
  • Design and standardize security frameworks for cloud infrastructures in accordance with industry benchmarks.
  • Oversee and enhance IAM platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, AWS IAM, and Midpoint.
  • Implement advanced security measures, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Automate security operations and tools to minimize manual interventions.
  • Continuously improve security protocols within build environments, including Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Engage in drafting and revising security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to fulfill security requirements and adopt best practices.
  • Provide expert third-level support to the Service Management Team.
  • Conduct security assessments and advocate for the integration of Single Sign-On (SSO) in partnership with Digital R&D App Owners.
  • Enhance self-service capabilities for platforms like AWS, Phrase, and OpsGenie by managing appropriate group ownerships.
  • Deploy IAM configurations utilizing infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform.
  • Offer internal security consulting to ensure compliance and protect operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant professional experience in IT security and IAM, preferably within cloud environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security, including platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Proficient in utilizing IAM tools and technologies like Okta, Entra ID, and Midpoint.
  • Experienced in securing build environments, particularly Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of authentication methods, encryption techniques, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Skilled in automating security processes using scripting languages and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively in English.
