Overview
The Commercial Asset and Portfolio Analysis division delivers comprehensive commercial insights, market evaluations, and analytical support to RWE's operations across all renewable, conventional, and storage technologies worldwide. Our mission is to facilitate the transition to Net Zero by directing RWE's investments towards markets, technologies, and monetization strategies that offer the greatest commercial potential.

Your Contributions
You will enhance the team with your expertise and enthusiasm for the following tasks:

  • Assist in the analysis, development, maintenance, and application of algorithms and optimization models for renewable asset initiatives utilizing linear and non-linear programming techniques.
  • Support the creation of forecasting models for various energy market drivers to be integrated into the fundamental energy model.
  • Improve portfolio management workflows through the implementation of automation and database solutions.
  • Assist in designing and developing the front-end user interface for the tools created.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with a strong academic record (Bachelor students should have completed at least three semesters) in fields such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Python, is highly advantageous.
  • You demonstrate a structured and independent working style, coupled with a high level of reliability and commitment.
  • You possess a keen ability to quickly adapt to diverse topics and maintain a strong customer-oriented approach.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment that encourages open feedback and are eager to grow both personally and professionally.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
