Overview
The Commercial Asset and Portfolio Analysis division delivers comprehensive commercial insights, market evaluations, and analytical assistance to RWE's operations across renewable, conventional, and storage technologies worldwide. Our mission is to facilitate the transition to Net Zero by directing RWE's investments towards markets, technologies, and monetization strategies that yield the highest commercial returns.
Your Role
You will enhance the team with your expertise and enthusiasm in the following areas:
- Assist in the analysis, development, maintenance, and application of algorithms and optimization models for renewable asset initiatives utilizing linear and non-linear programming methodologies.
- Support the creation of forecasting models for various energy market drivers to be integrated into the fundamental energy model.
- Improve portfolio management workflows through the implementation of automation and database solutions.
- Contribute to the design and development of user-friendly interfaces for the tools created.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record (Bachelor students should have completed at least three semesters) in fields such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Python, is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a structured and independent manner, exhibiting reliability and commitment.
- A keen interest in quickly mastering a variety of new subjects with a strong customer service orientation.
- A collaborative spirit with a preference for working in a team that values open feedback and personal and professional growth.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
