About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations EMEA Lead to join our team at CSL Behring. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in shaping our industrial relations strategy and delivering high-quality HR solutions to our business partners.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Industrial Relations
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on industrial relations matters to our business partners across EMEA
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners, including unions, works councils, and employee representative committees
    • Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving our industrial relations approach and delivering business outcomes
    • Contribute to the development of our industrial relations roadmap and strategy
    • Collaborate with our Employee Relations team on ER matters that may have an IR component
  • Human Resources Business Partnering
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with our business leaders and develop HR operational plans to achieve business outcomes
    • Provide HR solutions and support to our business partners, including coaching and advising on individual, team, and organizational matters
    • Help shape the culture and employee experience of our client groups
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience
    • 5+ years' experience leading industrial relations teams in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, UK, and their relevant parties
    • 8+ years of experience in HR business partnering, HR operations, or a combined role
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation in your home country and at least two main countries in the region
    • Versed in Agile organization/ways of working
    • Design people initiatives that enhance results within the remit of Industrial Relations
  • Language
    • English and German business proficiency (writing, speaking) mandatory
    • Additional European language an advantage
