Your Role:
As a Solutions Engineer, you will be integral to our mission, utilizing your technical expertise to showcase how our Data Intelligence Platform can address intricate data challenges faced by our clients. Reporting to a Field Engineering Director, you will collaborate with a dedicated, customer-oriented team that values innovation and creativity, crafting tailored solutions to help clients meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with senior mentors and collaborate with a team to promote Databricks solutions.
- Advocate for our platform within the technical community through workshops, events, and partnerships.
- Acquire hands-on experience by participating in technical projects, understanding client needs, and delivering effective solutions.
- Enhance your technical skills to manage data projects from ingestion to insight generation and predictive analytics.
- Progress towards becoming an independent Senior Solutions Engineer by refining both technical and pre-sales capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of addressing client inquiries, aligning with their interests, and achieving measurable outcomes.
- Passion for technical exploration, adept at gathering requirements through insightful questioning, researching solutions, and presenting proofs-of-concept.
- Ability to articulate the business value of technical solutions effectively.
- Proficient in a core programming language, preferably Python or SQL; familiarity with Apache Spark is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in the Big Data Analytics sector with some experience in advanced proofs-of-concept.
- Practical experience with public cloud platforms, particularly with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Cloud certifications in AWS and Databricks are advantageous.
