Research Focus
Our work involves utilizing a diverse array of methodologies, including the analysis of patient samples, cell culture, and animal models. The successful candidate will engage in a DFG-funded project as part of the Research Training Group RTG2727, which investigates "Innate Immune Checkpoints in Cancer and Tissue Damage".
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent experiments while meticulously evaluating and documenting research findings.
- Formulate scientific hypotheses and design experimental frameworks to validate them.
- Collaborate effectively within the research unit and with external scientific partners.
- Participate in scientific conferences, presenting findings and preparing manuscripts for publication.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in (Medical) Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Medicine, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong interest in translational immunological research.
- Solid foundation in immunology or molecular and cellular biology.
- Willingness to conduct animal experiments (mouse); prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; fluency in English (both oral and written) and the ability to communicate in German.
