Position Overview

We are in search of a Project Director (m/f/d) to oversee significant Data Centre construction initiatives. This role is pivotal as you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that their expectations are not only met but surpassed. Your focus will be on delivering projects within the stipulated timelines and budget while adhering to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
As the Project Director, you will:

  • Lead a diverse team, fostering collaboration and driving performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage all aspects of project execution, including design development, permitting, procurement, and construction.
  • Oversee critical project management functions such as:
    • Overall Project Management
    • Project Controls
    • Preconstruction Activities
    • Environmental, Health & Safety Management
    • Construction Oversight
    • Quality Assurance
    • Commercial Oversight
    • Claims Management
    • Procurement Strategies
    • Project Execution Support
    • Project Close-out Procedures

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A university degree in a construction-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering large-scale projects, particularly in the Data Centre sector.
  • Experience in roles such as Project Director or Construction Director within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) environment, or as a General Contractor.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies and controls.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and senior management.
  • Fluency in English and a minimum of B1 proficiency in German.
