We are seeking a Senior HR Specialist to enhance our operations in our Frankfurt office. This permanent position involves delivering comprehensive HR support across multiple locations, emphasizing precise execution, operational efficiency, and adherence to local regulations.
In this role, you will manage a diverse range of responsibilities, particularly focusing on HR compliance, payroll management, employee benefits, vendor relations, and addressing daily inquiries from staff and management. You will engage in various HR initiatives and contribute to employee relations matters while driving strategic HR projects with your innovative ideas.
As a key resource for all HR-related inquiries, you will be recognized as a trusted advisor to our workforce.
Team Dynamics
You will be a vital part of our compact yet effective HR team in Frankfurt, collaborating closely with the Senior HR Manager and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. Additionally, you will coordinate with other HR functions across the EMEA region, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and Shared Services. Our EMEA HR team comprises over 30 dedicated professionals based in various locations, working cohesively to meet the Firm's HR requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional employee experience by partnering with Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services to ensure seamless onboarding of new hires.
- Utilize your extensive HR knowledge to monitor and implement changes in employment legislation in Germany and Switzerland, ensuring compliance in all processes and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date records in our HR systems.
- Oversee the accurate processing of monthly payroll for multiple offices, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
- Manage and evaluate the benefits offerings for employees in Germany and Switzerland in collaboration with the Total Rewards team.
- Serve as the primary contact for our HR vendors, including payroll and benefits providers.
- Contribute to the enhancement of existing HR policies and the development of new ones in line with local regulations.
- Champion health and safety initiatives, coordinating with health professionals to promote well-being.
- Lead initiatives focused on diversity and employee well-being, collaborating with Talent Development on training programs.
Candidate Profile
You are fluent in both German and English, with additional European languages being advantageous.
A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience in a dynamic, international setting, is required.
Experience with German payroll and HR policies is essential, while familiarity with Swiss payroll is a plus. You possess a solid understanding of German labor laws and local benefits programs.
Attention to detail is crucial, ensuring high accuracy in all tasks. You are organized, capable of prioritizing effectively, and enjoy implementing strategies to enhance processes.
Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
