Position: Proposals Engineering Specialist (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Proposals Engineering Specialist to become an integral part of our Technology team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of information received from Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and the Licensing Department.
  • Lead and coordinate internal discussions to define the RFP response strategy, content requirements, and sales approach.
  • Craft tailored technical proposals, ensuring high quality and comprehensive content, including plant layouts, process descriptions, PFDs, equipment sizing, NPV, and capital cost estimations.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments to compile the final proposal.
  • Manage and track timelines and milestones from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements.
  • Engage in technical discussions and represent the company in face-to-face meetings and video conferences.
  • Support the Licensing Department throughout the sales process.
  • Drive ongoing efforts to simplify the proposal process and develop tools that enhance productivity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, project management, licensing, or technical proposal preparation within the petrochemical sector.
  • Experience in polymer technology is a plus.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented work approach.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes during the proposal phase.
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
