Proposals Engineering Specialist (m/f/d)We are seeking a Proposals Engineering Specialist (m/f/d) to become an integral part of our Technology team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough analysis of information received from Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and the Licensing Department.
- Lead and coordinate internal meetings to define the RFP response strategy, content of deliverables, and sales approach.
- Craft tailored technical proposals, ensuring high quality and comprehensive content, including plant layout, process descriptions, PFDs, equipment sizing, NPV, and capital cost estimations, along with process guarantees.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to compile the final proposal.
- Oversee and manage timelines and milestones from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements.
- Engage in technical discussions and represent the company in face-to-face meetings and video conferences.
- Support the Licensing Department throughout the sales process.
- Drive ongoing simplification of the proposal process and development of tools to enhance productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, project management, licensing, or technical proposal preparation within the petrochemical sector.
- Experience in polymer technology is a plus.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Structured and meticulous work approach.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
