**About Electronic Theatre Controls**
Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) is a leading company in the events lighting technology industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Services Apprentice.
**Job Summary**
We are looking for a talented individual to support our technical services department while pursuing their education and growing their knowledge and understanding of electronics repair and lighting technology.
**Key Responsibilities**
Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting ETC and other products within the sales department
- Repairing faulty products
- Assisting with testing, storing, organizing and dispatching loan and demo equipment
- Performing hardware and software upgrades
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A successful completion of secondary school; high school or technical secondary school
- An interest in electronics and a willingness to learn electronic repair
- An interest in professional lighting technology for theatres
- Good basic knowledge in Mathematics, Physics and English
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a team
- Able to use hand tools, power tools, and electronic test tools
- Able to lift up items of high weight
