Energy Markets Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Energy Markets Consultant to join our team in the DACH region. As a key member of our Energy Markets and Strategy (EMS) team, you will provide strategic and analytical economic advice to our clients on power and gas markets, assessing energy sector investments and business models.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on wholesale energy markets, ancillary and system services, balancing markets, demand side flexibility, and commercial due diligence.
- Lead consulting projects for clients, from proposal preparation to project delivery.
- Develop and expand our services, including identifying market opportunities, acquiring new projects, and writing winning proposals.
- Collaborate with our team to deliver industry-defining results to our clients.

- Experience in the design, analysis, and assessment of energy markets, as well as the assessment and valuation of energy sector investments and business models.
- Deep understanding of wholesale energy and balancing markets, ancillary and system services, with excellent practical knowledge of the energy sector and market in the DACH countries.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and project management experience.
- Comfortable leading and selling projects to existing and new clients.
- Fluent or native German speaker with excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
- Ability to co-operate well with others.
- Self-motivated, proactive, result and solution-oriented mindset, high sense of responsibility, and personal integrity.
