About the Role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our Energy Markets and Strategy (EMS) team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic and analytical economic advice to our clients on power and gas markets, assessing energy sector investments and business models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead consulting projects for clients, from proposal preparation to project delivery.
  • Develop and expand our services, including identifying market opportunities, acquiring new projects, and writing winning proposals.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver industry-defining results to our customers.
  • Provide expert advice on wholesale energy markets, ancillary and system services, balancing markets, demand side flexibility, and commercial due diligence.
About the Team

Our team is located in Bonn, Germany, and provides economic and commercial advice on the energy sector to clients in the DACH countries and internationally. We focus on the energy transition and the impact of the switch to renewable energy resources.

Requirements
  • Experience in the design, analysis, and assessment of energy markets, as well as the assessment and valuation of energy sector investments and business models.
  • Deep understanding of wholesale energy and balancing markets, ancillary and system services, with excellent practical knowledge of the energy sector and market in the DACH countries.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and project management experience.
  • Fluent or native German speaker with excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
