Energy Markets Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Energy Markets and Strategy team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic and analytical economic and commercial advice to our clients in the DACH countries on energy systems, power and gas markets, emerging energy technologies, energy infrastructures, and business models.
Key Responsibilities- Lead consulting projects for clients, from proposal preparation to project delivery.
- Provide expert advice on competitive energy markets and the economics of renewable energies, as well as the assessment and valuation of energy assets, investments, and business models.
- Guide project team members and less experienced colleagues.
- Drive the continuous development and expansion of our services, including identifying market opportunities, acquiring new projects, and writing winning proposals.
Our team is located in Bonn, Germany, and provides economic and commercial advice on the energy sector to clients in the DACH countries and internationally. We focus on the energy transition and the impact of the switch to renewable energy resources.

- A deep understanding of the functioning of energy markets and comprehensive practical knowledge of energy sector business models in the DACH countries.
- Proven economic and commercial knowledge in areas such as wholesale power markets and trading, system services, balancing markets, and demand side flexibility.
- Interest and proven ability in leading projects, organizing project work, and guiding project team members and less experienced colleagues.
- Fluent or native German speaker with excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
- A self-motivated, proactive, result-oriented mindset, high sense of responsibility, and personal integrity.
