Key Responsibilities:

CLINICAL OPERATIONS:

Oversee clinic operations, including budget management, process optimization, staffing, and adherence to quality standards. Provide leadership, mentorship, and development plans for all team members. Collaborate with internal departments such as Human Resources, Quality Assurance, and Technical Services. Work alongside the Home Therapies Program Manager to ensure effective management of the facility's Home Therapies Program. Maintain accurate medical and operational records, ensuring compliance with data collection and auditing requirements. Ensure completion of annual reviews and accurate coding for medical classifications. Manage clinic financial performance, including resource utilization and regular profit and loss assessments. Ensure compliance with all necessary reporting and regulatory surveys.

PATIENT CARE:

Coordinate comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge with relevant staff. Educate patients on quality measures, transplant options, and treatment modalities. Serve as a resource for patients and families, addressing inquiries and concerns. Ensure timely completion of patient assessments and care plans. Optimize patient scheduling to enhance facility efficiency and develop action plans for missed treatments. Validate patient eligibility for treatment and report any changes in patient status.

STAFF MANAGEMENT:

Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring completion of orientation and mandatory training. Ensure all clinical staff complete necessary training and maintain current licensure and certifications. Provide ongoing support and encouragement for professional development among clinical staff. Stay informed about company policies, benefits, and procedures. Conduct employee evaluations and set annual performance goals. Document disciplinary actions and collaborate with the clinic Director of Operations and Human Resources as needed. Manage staff scheduling and payroll processes.

PHYSICIAN RELATIONS:

Facilitate the process for physician privileges and ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws. Foster strong relationships with physicians and maintain effective communication. Participate in interdisciplinary teams that govern policy and procedure.

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN). Current state licensure as required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Required: Minimum of 6 years of business operations experience in healthcare and clinical experience in chronic or acute dialysis nursing. Must successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test. Preferred: 3+ years of supervisory or project management experience, or ICU/CCU experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Daily responsibilities include desk work and interaction with patients, staff, and physicians. Position may require travel between facilities and attendance at regional meetings. Work environment typical of a healthcare facility with controlled air temperature and moderate noise levels. Potential exposure to infectious materials.
