Job Overview
Are you prepared to leverage your expertise as a PC & Network Technician within a progressive German organization that boasts international ties at our Bramsche site?
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and uphold the company's IT framework, encompassing server, client, and network hardware and software, configurations, along with end-user assistance
- Oversee and maintain infrastructure services and systems
- Manage system and application servers
- Handle account management, including the creation, deletion, and modification of accounts across all systems
- Provide, install, configure, and troubleshoot server, client, and network hardware and software
- Manage smartphone installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Facilitate remote access and VPN services
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers
- Ensure secure internet access and manage internet and firewall services
- Administer LAN and WiFi network services, ensuring access and availability of network resources such as files
- Maintain connectivity between local sites and European/global services
- Ensure the availability of backup and recovery systems and provide support in instances of accidental deletion, modification, or loss
- Manage collaboration and video conferencing services/systems
- Provide industrial PCs and software, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot industrial hardware (e.g., scanners, scales, PCL, etc.)
- Oversee server deployment for industrial systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Candidate Profile:
- Completed technical college education (e.g., degree in computer science)
- Preferred 2 years of relevant work experience
- Required knowledge of operating systems (client and server)
- Required knowledge of network infrastructure
- Familiarity with standard server and client software applications
- Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining focus on individual tasks
- Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skills
- Ability to cultivate a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively
- Skill in building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Basic project management capabilities
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
Working Hours:
The position entails a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
