About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Logistics Manager to join our Supply Chain Management Organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and leadership to our Europe (UK & EU) Regional Logistics, Transportation & Warehouse Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and identify process gaps to develop solutions that enhance logistics operations performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics integration across all Nexperia business units.
- Establish SOPs for effective freight management and logistics operations from both process and cost optimization perspectives.
- Manage 3rd party service providers and ensure efficient operations are executed as per agreement and KPIs.
- Lead the logistics team and manage the entire organizational and technical area.
- General responsibility for the functionality and performance of the group work, safety, and maintenance instructions.
- Other responsibilities include Inventories & Destructions, Compliance with SoX Control, Audit Management, Logistics Budgeting & Cost Distribution, Europe Return Store, Import/Export Customs Clearance Operations.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, transportation in a freight forwarding business in an international environment is preferred. Functional expertise in ERP applications, knowledge in SAP WM/MM/SD, and strong leadership and people management skills are essential.
