In this role, reporting to the Director of Operations, you will oversee the Front Office department, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and efficient service for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft unforgettable experiences for guests that encourage repeat visits.
- Lead and inspire a dynamic team, setting clear objectives, empowering staff, and fostering an inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with Duty Managers and other departments to optimize occupancy and revenue strategies.
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial discipline across all operations.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel Standard Operating Procedures while proactively seeking improvements.
- Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams.
- Stay informed and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in crisis management and fire safety teams, ensuring readiness for any situation.
- Deliver exceptional service to both external and internal stakeholders, building lasting partnerships with suppliers.
- Assist the sales and marketing teams with property tours and be knowledgeable about hotel amenities.
Qualifications
- A proven track record in delivering outstanding guest experiences, whether for overnight stays or casual visits.
- Experience in a similar role or as an Assistant Front Office Manager, with a strong background in Front Office operations.
- Familiarity with property management systems, such as Micros Fidelio Opera.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and their implementation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- A natural leader who fosters a supportive and engaging team culture.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, whether it involves food, drink, events, or accommodations.
- A commitment to leaving a positive impression on all interactions.
