Position Overview: We are looking for a Merchant Growth - Sales Manager to spearhead our partnership initiatives within the Restaurant and Merchant advertising and promotions sector. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through direct sales and strategic partnerships with merchants. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in advertising sales, a proven history of achieving results, and the capability to convert restaurant and merchant partners into advertising clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a detailed local strategy aimed at enhancing revenue for our restaurant and merchant advertising business.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with essential industry stakeholders, including global brands, franchises, and local eateries and merchants.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive global advertising and promotions sales strategy to meet revenue objectives and drive customer acquisition.
  • Inspire a high-performing local sales team to surpass advertising revenue goals and achieve customer acquisition and retention targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
  • Develop and refine sales processes and procedures to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular insights to leadership regarding sales ROI and emerging trends.
  • Negotiate and finalize advertising investment agreements with a focus on revenue growth, product adoption, and customer engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales management within relevant sectors (advertising sales, restaurants, retail) with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to present to senior executives and clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills with an emphasis on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Robust analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth through partnerships or advertising initiatives.
