YOUR ROLE

As the Electrical Device Regulatory Manager, you will be instrumental in the Global Product Stewardship (GPS) division, ensuring compliance for all electrical appliances across the globe. Based at our GIC Kronberg Tech Centers, you will lead GPS projects, providing regulatory insights and collaborating with esteemed service providers such as TÜV, VDE, and UL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to electrical industry standards and regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Project Leadership: Partner with R&D to integrate GPS-related considerations from testing phases to the global launch of electrical devices.
  • External Representation: Advocate for P&G's stance on electrical device regulation changes during standard committee meetings and discussions with regulatory authorities.
  • Collaboration: Engage with global SMO GPS teams and distributors to synchronize development requirements with market entry and address regulatory inquiries.
  • Continuous Learning: Remain updated on regulatory shifts, interpretations, and industry developments to influence electrical regulations and create compliant products.

Job Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE
  • A degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline. A passion for strategic regulatory work and a strong desire to enhance regulatory knowledge. Previous experience in electrical regulation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Leadership: Inspire and energize partners across various functions and external stakeholders. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential for representing P&G in discussions with regulators and service providers.
  • Decisiveness: Ability to work autonomously, analyze data, make informed decisions, and execute with confidence.
  • Industry Awareness: A keen interest in staying informed about the dynamic landscape of the business sector.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English. Ability to distill and present complex regulatory information clearly. Proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: A solid foundation in electrical engineering, radiotransmission engineering, or physics.
