About the Role
SAP is seeking a skilled Development Expert/Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Globalization Development Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cutting-edge cloud solutions using microservice development architecture and Business AI
- Translate business and product requirements into technical requirements, models, and software architecture
- Ensure architectural integrity of solutions and lead or participate in research and Proof of Concept activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product architecture and ensure alignment of architecture concepts and documentation
- Write clean and maintainable code using best engineering practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field with 10+ years of professional experience in software development
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in an architect role in engineering and software architecture design, building, and distributing software tools and solutions in an agile environment
- Strong programming and analytical skills, experience in HCM SuccessFactors and Payroll/Time Management solution
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C++, Python, Java) in a cross-platform environment with multiple operating system targets and databases
- Experience in development of complex software solutions based on ABAP/JAVA technology
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German
