About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading the supply chain for the Structure and Interiors parts within the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • Support the procurement team in sourcing and supplier management, including market assessment, supplier selection, and contracting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Orchestrate a global network of suppliers to drive best practice exchange and innovation.
  • Ensure plant delivery meets safety, time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Lead large-scale supplier sourcing deployment projects from analysis to ramp-up.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in business administration or a technical field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement and supplier management.
  • Experience in contracting in the aerospace or automotive sectors.
  • Experience with SupplyOn and/or INFOR is highly appreciated.
  • Excellent analysis and evaluation skills.
  • Strategic thinking with sound technical skills and analytical ability.
  • High personal influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent English language skills.
