Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Head of Sales and Business Development to lead our acquisition team in the High-Speed and Intercity Trains business segment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for representing our business interests with customers worldwide, building long-term partnerships, and driving sales growth through strategic product and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to identify, pursue, and close large-scale sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales enablement strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or business administration.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the rail technology industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in English, with German language skills an asset.
