We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Customer Service Representative to join our team at Oxford Instruments in Wiesbaden, Germany. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative sales and service support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate customer service records and client details on our company database.
- Input orders onto the database and complete all associated tasks, including licensing, sending sales order acknowledgments, and invoicing.
- Handle order amendments, ensuring clear communication with customers and updating the database accordingly.
- Ensure seamless collaboration and communication between Oxford Instruments and internal and external customers.
- Actively explore and meet customer requirements, improving and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Represent customers' interests within Oxford Instruments, adopting a customer-centric approach.
- Raise internal purchase orders as needed.
- Maintain the schedule planner, allocating engineer jobs if required.
- Organize relevant customer training and maintain accurate records.
- Support the logistics department with product import and export.
- Assist the department with company exhibitions and shows as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or qualification in business administration.
- Familiarity with import/export procedures, including Incoterms and payment terms.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Good analytical and multitasking skills, with data-driven thinking.
- Organized, with solid administrative and reporting skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
