Project Manager: Road and Civil Construction

As a seasoned Project Manager at STRABAG AG, you will be responsible for leading challenging projects that balance economic and technical objectives.
- Project Leadership: Oversee construction site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Team Management: Manage and motivate a team of construction site members to achieve project goals.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure a safe working environment for all team members and stakeholders, adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Negotiate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Supplier Selection: Participate in the selection process of suppliers to ensure the best possible services and materials are sourced for the project.
- Quality and Deadline Management: Utilize LEAN methods to ensure quality and deadlines are met, and document and address any deficiencies that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Project Experience: Experience in road and civil construction projects, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to inspire and engage employees, with a cost-conscious mindset and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Teamwork: A team player with a proactive and responsible work approach, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
