**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to join our team at Flughafen München GmbH. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our IT systems, including system event management, service desk support, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Event Management: Ensure the smooth operation of all productive IT and IT-related systems, including applications, data centers, decentralized systems, and communication systems.
  • Service Desk Agent: Provide 1st-level support for all IT systems via telephone.
  • System Management: Perform cyclic system maintenance tasks, including testing of redundancies.
  • Incident Management: Analyze and resolve disruptions, as well as monitor and escalate incidents in the IT service area.
  • Internal Multiplier Role: Act as a multiplier for specialized IT experts, manage external service providers, and participate in exciting projects.

Requirements:

  • You have a completed degree in computer science, a technical education, or equivalent education and experience.
  • You have good theoretical and practical knowledge of the current IT landscape (Windows 10, Linux, Unix, MS-Office 2013, Office 365, LAN, end devices, iOS devices) and can ideally demonstrate manufacturer-specific specialized training and certifications.
  • You have excellent methodological knowledge in the areas of quality and process management, IT security, data protection, and data security, and have already gained practical experience in the areas of service desk (hotline) and operational operation of data centers.
  • You have service and customer orientation, cost awareness, high communication skills, analytical thinking, and self-responsibility and self-initiative.
  • You are flexible and resilient and also willing to work on call, shifts, and night shifts.
  • You enjoy regular further education and have very good German and good English skills in writing and speaking.
  • Finally, you have a valid driver's license and are willing to undergo a legally required reliability check.
