We are seeking a qualified professional for the position of
Airport IT Consultant (f/m/d)
Munich Airport International (MAI) is a leading consultancy in the aviation sector, offering expertise in managing terminals and airports globally. With our headquarters at Munich Airport and additional offices in Berlin and New Jersey, we pride ourselves on a team of around 200 skilled professionals who have successfully completed over 125 projects across more than 45 countries.
Our diverse team is dedicated to our mission: to enhance the aviation industry through innovative practices and sustainable solutions.
We are currently looking for an Airport IT Consultant (f/m/d) to contribute to our objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support for Airport Projects:
Provide consultancy to our aviation clients, including airports and terminals, and engage in complex international airport projects. Lead and support our consulting and management initiatives in the field of airport ICT.Core Areas of Focus:
Conduct thorough due diligence, audits, and oversee ICT responsibilities in Airport ORAT programs for systems such as AODB, RMS, FIDS, CUTE, etc. Create strategic roadmaps for ICT master planning, digital transformation, commercial initiatives, and investment strategies, including the design of ICT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans while providing expert support to stakeholders.Client-Centric Approach:
Develop and present tailored recommendations, solutions, and business cases regarding ICT matters, ensuring alignment with client needs and expectations.Business Development:
Collaborate with our teams to drive business development efforts, contributing your expertise to secure new projects and foster innovative solutions.Qualifications:
A Master's degree in information technology, electronics/electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. Background in aviation is a plus. Several years of experience in ICT roles, preferably within an airport setting or a consulting firm focused on the aviation sector. Proven track record of managing ICT projects from inception to completion. PMP or similar internationally recognized certifications are advantageous. Experience in ICT operations in airports, adhering to ITILv3 standards, including DR planning and testing, IS certifications, information security audits, and enterprise ICT architecture is desirable. A motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset. Excellent communication and presentation abilities in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments. Adaptability to dynamic situations and a strong commitment to achieving goals. Willingness to travel extensively is essential. Proficient in English (both oral and written); additional language skills are beneficial, with good German language skills being welcomed.Benefits:
