We are seeking a dedicated professional for the position of
Airport IT Consultant (f/m/d)
Munich Airport International (MAI), a division of Munich Airport Group, provides expert advisory services to clients in the aviation sector and oversees airport and terminal operations globally. With its headquarters situated at Munich Airport and additional offices in Berlin and New Jersey, MAI employs approximately 200 skilled professionals and boasts a successful track record of over 125 completed projects across more than 45 countries.

We are looking for an Airport IT Consultant (f/m/d) to contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities that Inspire
Support for Airport Projects:
Provide expert advice to our aviation clients, as well as to airports and terminals under our management, and engage in complex airport projects on a global scale. Lead and support our consulting and management initiatives in the field of airport ICT.Key Areas of Focus:
Conduct thorough due diligence, audits, and assume ICT responsibilities in Airport ORAT programs for systems such as AODB, RMS, FIDS, CUTE, etc. Develop strategic roadmaps for ICT master planning, digital transformation, commercial initiatives, and investment programs, including the design of ICT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans while providing specialized support to stakeholders.Client-Centric Approach:
Formulate and present recommendations, solutions, and business cases related to ICT topics, ensuring alignment with client needs and presenting findings to management at all levels.Business Development:
Assist or lead business development efforts alongside our teams to successfully secure new projects and leverage your expertise in the creation of innovative solutions.Qualifications that Matter
A Master's degree in information technology, electronics/electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. A background in aviation is advantageous. Several years of experience in ICT roles, preferably within an airport environment or a consulting firm focused on the aviation industry. Proven track record of managing ICT projects from inception to completion. PMP or similar internationally recognized certifications are a plus. Experience in ICT operations within airports, adhering to ITILv3 standards, including DR planning and testing, IS certifications, information security audits, SOP/WI drafting, and enterprise ICT architecture projects is desirable. A highly motivated individual with a strong analytical mindset and a proactive approach to achieving results. Excellent communication and presentation skills in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings. Comfortable navigating ambiguous and evolving situations, demonstrating a high level of commitment to objectives and tasks. Willingness to travel extensively is essential. Proficient in English (oral and written); additional language skills are a plus, with good German language skills being welcomed.Compelling Benefits
