Freight Operations Manager

About the Role:

Cargoboard GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a highly skilled Freight Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and support of transport from pick-up to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Pricing: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and optimize freight prices.
  • Transportation Coordination: Ensure seamless transportation operations, including coordination with shipping partners and customers.
  • Network Development: Build and maintain a network of national and international shipping partners to expand our reach and services.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve existing work processes and structures to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Completed commercial training or professional experience in the field of shipping and logistics.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of dispatching and logistics principles, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and industry standards.
