Manage and oversee medium to large-scale global supply chain initiatives across various regions including Japan, APAC, EMEA, US, and China.
- Facilitate collaboration among internal supply chain teams and other business functions, as well as external vendors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Create comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and coordinate with relevant personnel, teams, and third-party organizations.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource distribution effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery of business process designs and requirements.
- Manage global and regional interdependencies, tracking activities with the project team and delegating tasks as necessary.
- Organize user testing, training for key users, and maintain communication and support during the implementation phase.
- Supervise daily project activities, milestones, and deliverables in partnership with potential implementation partners.
- Assess project performance to ensure the achievement of both short- and long-term supply chain objectives.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain regular updates on risk assessments.
- Continuously enhance project execution by applying best practices and providing recommendations.
- Maintain transparency regarding costs, efforts, and deliverables for all stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage alterations to project scope, timelines, and budgets using appropriate verification methods.
Qualifications
A master's or bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience in global project management, particularly with large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
- Experience in global digital transformation or rollout initiatives is advantageous.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, including demand and supply planning and distribution, is beneficial.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in MS 365, Jira, or similar tools.
- Fluent in business English.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
