POSITION SUMMARYAs the Electrical Device Regulatory Manager, you will be an integral part of the Global Product Stewardship (GPS) team at Procter & Gamble, overseeing regulatory compliance for our electrical appliances on a global scale. Based at our GIC Kronberg Tech Centers, you will lead GPS projects, offering regulatory insights and collaborating with esteemed organizations such as TÜV, VDE, and UL.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to electrical industry standards and regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Project Leadership: Partner with R&D to integrate GPS-related feedback from testing through to the global launch of electrical devices.
- External Representation: Advocate for Procter & Gamble's stance on electrical device regulatory changes during standard committee meetings and discussions with regulatory authorities.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with global SMO GPS teams and distributors to align development objectives with market entry and address regulatory inquiries.
- Continuous Learning: Remain updated on regulatory developments, interpretations, and industry trends to influence electrical regulations and create compliant products.
Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS- A degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline. A passion for strategic regulatory work and a strong interest in developing regulatory expertise. Previous experience in electrical regulation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Leadership Skills: Inspire and engage partners across various functions and external stakeholders. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for representing Procter & Gamble in discussions with regulators and service providers.
- Decisiveness: Ability to work autonomously, analyze data, make informed decisions, and execute with confidence.
- Industry Awareness: A keen interest in staying informed about the dynamic landscape of the business sector.
- Communication Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to summarize and convey complex regulatory information clearly. Proficiency in German is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid foundation in electrical engineering, radiotransmission engineering, or physics.
