Lead Engineer for Power Inverter Systems

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishing system concepts and requirements for power electronics while adhering to safety regulations (ISO6469, ISO26262, etc.)
  • Collaborating in the development of system architecture alongside other specialists
  • Creating technical safety frameworks related to the safety functions of inverters
  • Engaging in discussions and incorporating innovative solutions with software and hardware professionals
  • Defining and executing test cases for integration and functional system assessments across various testing platforms (HiL, PHiL, Testbed)
  • Providing technical expertise in conducting safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, and DFA
  • Contributing personal technical knowledge to the advancement of new technologies in e-mobility and e-drive
  • Assisting in project management, budget oversight, and timeline establishment in R&D and client projects
  • Facilitating technical discussions with clients

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in e-mobility and e-drive development
  • Familiarity with functional safety is a plus
  • Proficient in tools such as UML-based architecture tools (Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, SysML) and lifecycle management tools (Windchill, DOORS, Codebeamer)
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • High analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of German is advantageous
  • Personality is paramount
