Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled professional with expertise in technical SEO to enhance our digital strategies and optimize our online presence.
Executing the Technical SEO Plan:
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams, including product, development, QA, engineering, and editorial, to advance SEO projects.
- Leverage advanced SEO tools such as Lumar, Botify, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs to assess technical health and pinpoint growth areas.
- Regularly evaluate and report on essential SEO metrics, offering actionable insights and strategies to enhance site performance and rankings.
- Ensure website architecture adheres to best practices to facilitate effective search engine crawling and indexing.
Technical Assessments and On-Page Optimization:
- Conduct routine technical assessments to identify and rectify issues impacting site health and search visibility.
- Apply on-page SEO strategies, including metadata optimization and internal linking enhancements.
- Examine server logs to troubleshoot issues and manage crawl budget efficiently.
- Enhance site speed and performance, focusing on minimizing load times and optimizing user experience through best practices in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with CDN and caching strategies.
- Implement and oversee structured data and schema markup.
Performance Analysis:
- Evaluate outcomes and refine the technical strategy as needed.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track organic SEO performance using tools like Looker Studio.
- Conduct competitive assessments.
- Analyze traffic fluctuations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, algorithms, SEO tools, and technologies, integrating them into workflows to enhance SEO effectiveness.
- Assess and recommend new tools and technologies to keep the SEO strategy innovative.
- Continuously improve SEO strategies based on data analysis, search engine guidelines, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Expertise in Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics (GA), and Semrush.
- A proven history of leading teams focused on enhancing page speed, Page Experience, Core Web Vitals, and Mobile Usability scores.
- Proficiency in WordPress development, with additional experience in SCRUM or Product roles considered a plus.
- Prior experience in optimizing page speed and usability will distinguish you from other candidates.
