Credit and Collections Specialist

Accor is seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the collection process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze customer accounts to identify overdue payments and determine appropriate collection actions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment agreements, and collection activities
- Engage with customers to discuss outstanding debts and negotiate mutually beneficial payment arrangements
- Evaluate credit risks and make recommendations for credit limits and collection terms
- Implement collection strategies and processes to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure
- Create reports on collection activities, overdue rates, and trends for management review
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to billing and payment issues
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, with focus on collections, accounts receivable or a similar role
- Knowledge of collection techniques, credit policies, and relevant laws and regulations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Office-based role in our Munich or Vienna Head Offices with the option for hybrid working
