Safeguarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at Siegfried. As a key member of our safety and security department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our chemical production facilities and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process safety management systems
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety procedures, protocols, and training materials
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry standards, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety or security role, preferably in a chemical production facility
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards, including OSHA and EPA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze complex safety data and develop effective solutions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
