We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at Siegfried. As a key member of our safety and security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our chemical processes and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety training programs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide technical expertise and support to operations teams to ensure safe and efficient operation of chemical processes and facilities.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety procedures, risk assessments, and training records.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure our safety and security practices remain best-in-class.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, process safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety or process safety role, preferably in a chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols that have resulted in significant safety improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
