We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at Siegfried. As a key member of our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process safety management systems.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety procedures, protocols, and training materials.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
