Renewable Energy Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Analyst to join our Commercial Asset and Portfolio Analysis department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and maintaining algorithms and optimization models for renewable asset projects using linear/non-linear programming techniques.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing forecasting models for various drivers of energy markets
- Support the design and development of the front-end user interface for developed tools
- Streamline portfolio management processes through the implementation of automation and database pools
- Collaborate with the team to identify and develop new opportunities for commercial asset and portfolio analysis
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or master's program with an excellent academic record in one of: Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics or closely related disciplines
- Experience with programming languages such as Python would be extremely welcomed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
