Role Overview

HERE Technologies is seeking a Principal Technical Support Engineer - Technical Project Manager, who will be accountable for the effective implementation, adoption, and sustained engagement of HERE's technological solutions for clients. This position ensures that these solutions remain beneficial for the customer over time. You will manage daily customer interactions and actively contribute to maintaining and expanding these relationships.
The focus will be on key strategic accounts within the Automotive sector, leveraging HERE's products and services.

Engage with stakeholders and coordinate across departments to facilitate complex, strategic, and large-scale customer projects (large Automotive OEM) while ensuring successful delivery (product launches, projects). Manage the delivery process throughout the engagement lifecycle by defining and executing necessary release management and quality assurance activities, including error and release management. Tackle issues systematically by coordinating across teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on criticality, providing a 'single source of truth', timely executive visibility, and reporting, and integrating lessons learned into actionable follow-up plans. Undertake technical consulting assignments for customers. Collaborate with sales to finalize RFQs and translate customer needs into requirements, products, and solutions. Offer direct technical expertise for opportunities across one or multiple domains of knowledge. Serve as the primary technical interface for customers, ensuring their requirements are comprehended across internal divisions. Relay feedback to Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management regarding current and future product needs (acting as the voice of the Customer). Be prepared to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally, to engage with customers and suppliers as necessary.

Candidate Profile

This position demands a high level of proficiency in proactive technical support and project management, along with technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and commercial insight. The ideal candidate will possess most of the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

• Over 9 years of relevant technical experience, including at least 2 years in technical project management, customer support, consulting, or similar client-facing roles.

• Practical experience in software development and troubleshooting issues reported by customers.

• Strong project management skills involving large cross-functional teams; PMI PMP certification (or equivalent) is advantageous.

• Exceptional consultative, advisory, and organizational skills with a knack for proactive technical support and problem-solving.

• A strong sense of ownership of customer accounts, ensuring a trusted partnership is cultivated.

• Solid understanding of Automotive infotainment, ADAS, in-vehicle, and cloud solutions.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence individuals outside of one's managerial structure and a proven track record of effective cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration.

• Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
